Birders! Please join the Friends of Watsessing Park Conservancy on Saturday, February 19 for the 2022 Great Backyard Bird Count, sponsored jointly by the National Audubon Society, Cornell Bird Lab and Birds Canada. We will have a group count Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m., starting at the Butterfly Garden (Glenwood and Maolis in Bloomfield), for roughly a half hour. All are welcome to join us.

The goal is to record all of the different types of birds that we can identify (visually or by call) and how many of each we observe. Bring binoculars if you have them (but if you don’t, come anyway, plus a way of taking notes.

(If you can’t make it on Saturday morning but still want to participate, you can record and submit an individual count made anytime between February 18 and 21.
